What Quilox is
Quilox sits in the Nightlife & Culture district of the Lagos Life map, on Victoria Island. It is the game's homage to the real Quilox — for years the definitive Lagos luxury club, where the cars outside mattered as much as the music inside. The in-game version keeps that energy: this is the glamour counterpoint to the earthier Afrika Shrine, the place the city's show-offs and night owls rotate through after dark.
Unlike most locations on the map, Quilox is also a workplace — one of the 21 career venues. That dual identity (venue you visit, job you clock into) is what gives the place its pull.
What you do there
As the DJ, you work there. The DJ career is based at Quilox with shifts Thursday to Sunday, 8pm to 1am — the classic club hours. Five ranks climb from Hype Man to Global DJ:
| Rank | Pay per shift |
|---|---|
| 1. Hype Man | ₦8,300 |
| 2. Resident DJ | ₦16,500 |
| 3. Club Headliner | ₦30,200 |
| 4. Festival DJ | ₦50,800 |
| 5. Global DJ | ₦93,000 |
The career trains the Music skill, promotions need a full performance meter plus the next rank's skill level, and winning all four shift quests adds a 15% bonus — the same rules as every career, covered in our jobs guide. The ₦93,000 top shift is the third-best ceiling in the game.
As a guest, you party there. Quilox is the "fun bar" venue of the map's nightlife set — Fun drains at 4.5 points an hour and venues are how you refill it. How to get there
Open the city map and tap the Quilox button; your Sim makes the trip, with danfo flavour along the way. Community guides put a standard journey at ₦150. Two practical notes: if you are going to work, arrive inside the 8pm–1am window (the work action only exists then), and remember you can work only one shift per in-game day. The danfo transport guide explains the commuting system — including the transport subsidy players have voted into law.
What Quilox does for you
- A top-three career with no application gate — unlike Medicine or Aviation, anyone can start as a Hype Man tomorrow.
- Free days by design. Mon–Wed are shift-free, which leaves room for gigs, skills and a second life; the mirror-image of a Banking Monday.
- Trait synergy. Night Crawler and Musical traits both reward exactly this schedule; our trait table maps every match.
- Social gravity. Fame venues attract crowds — and in a multiplayer city, crowds are content.
When the night ends, the classic Lagos move is waiting: close it out with a late bowl at Amala Shitta. The rest of the city is on the map hub, and the official game (or our play page) is where you actually catch the 8pm shift.
